Dan Ruimy
Steady leadership. Collaborative by nature. Focused on the Maple Ridge people deserve.

Dan has called Maple Ridge home for nearly twenty years. Before politics, he spent more than 35 years in business, including opening a local bookstore and café right here in town.
He didn't come into public life with a big agenda.
He put his name forward because he believed council could work better together.
Less division. Clear direction. More follow-through.
As Mayor, that approach has helped move important work forward:
- Improving public safety
- Advancing major infrastructure projects
- Shifting the city toward planning ahead instead of reacting after the fact
Because when things stall, people feel it.

The work isn't finished.
There are still important decisions ahead. The question is whether they're met with more gridlock, or with the focus to see them through.
"The decisions we make today will shape Maple Ridge for decades to come."
Dan believes local government works best when it listens well, plans ahead, and follows through.
That's what he's focused on.
For the families building a life here.
The seniors who want to age in place.
The young people looking for opportunity.
The business owners investing in this community.
For everyone who wants Maple Ridge to grow without losing what makes it home.
A Better Maple Ridge is a team of neighbours from across this community who believe local government works best when it stays focused on local solutions.
We're building something here, and there's a place in it for you!
